At Bon Vivant Hire we are committed to making sure that everything goes smoothly for your big day.

Before the hire

Decide what you want, and contact us by phone or email for a quote.  All quotes will be provided in writing and remain obligation free for 14 days.
When you confirm the hire, a deposit of 50% will be required to be paid by cash, cheque, paypal, direct deposit or credit card.  Payment details will be on the quote.
If you cancel more than 30 days before the hire date, you will receive a 100% refund.  A 50% refund is available for 14 to 30 days notice.

At the time of hire

The hire goods can be collected from our premises in Brighton, or you can take advantage of our free delivery and collection for orders over $300.  Alternatively Bon Vivant Hire are happy to deliver and collect for an additional fee, which depends on your location.
Any remaining balance will need to be paid by cash, cheque, paypal, direct deposit or credit card.
A bond of the maximum of $200 or 30% of the hire price will need to be paid (or a credit card imprint signed).
You will be asked to provide your drivers license or passport and sign the hire agreement.
The hire agreement will make it clear that the hire goods become the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned.  Any damaged or lost items will be charged the rate described below.
The standard hire term is 3 days.

After the hire

The hire goods need to be cleaned and returned in the same condition that they were supplied.  Cleaning should be done by hand washing in warm soapy water, except for the Royal Doulton Platinum edition which are dishwasher safe.  Please note the rate below for any damage caused by cleaning.  Alternatively, Bon Vivant hire are happy to clean them for an additional fee of 20% of the hire cost.
Napkins and tableclothes do not need to be cleaned.

The hire goods will be inspected for any damage or missing items, and to ensure that they are returned in the condition supplied.  Please allow enough time for this inspection when the goods are returned.
Any damaged items (including chips, cracks or permanent discolouration) or missing items will be charged at a rate of 10 times the hire price, except sterling silver, which is charged at a rate of 20 times the hire price. 
Late returns will be charged at 30% of the hire price for each day late.
Any remaining bond will be returned after the inspection.  If the bond is not sufficient to cocver any damaged or missing items, an extra amount will be payable.
